Tom and Drew

I always have a hard time finding cute boy's clothing. Everything seems so boring and always seems to come in the same colors, no matter the brand. Girl clothes are so much easier top find and buy, resulting in Finley having a wardrobe bigger than all of us combined. Leaving poor Ezra out. Example, Finley gets a package in the mail on Friday, it's full of beautiful new dresses Grandma send. And WHO is ripping their clothes off trying to get these dresses on as fast as HE can? Yep, you guessed it, Ezra! Poor poor little boy, wants new clothes too.
I came across Tom and Drew and immediately fell in love with their selection of boy clothing. They offer a super cute selection of boy clothing that let's boys be boys. They even include extra pockets for rock collections and snaps for easy to wear woven shirts.
Ezra was sent a selection of adorable tees and we adore them. They have bull dogs, fish and sharks on them. Bright colors and easy to wear. I love how soft they are, how well they hold up and how darling Ezzie looks in them. Yes they look like basic tee shirts, but they really are awesome quality and hold up to stains and outdoor wild play very well. This is an excellent line of clothing for boys, offering everything from tee shirts and jeans to suits and fancy jackets. I really appreciate a line out there that can offer such a great and adorable selection for boys. Thanks Tom and Drew!

From June 15 at 9pm (Est) - June 19 at 11:59 PM (Est), we invite you to visit each participating blog where you will find many giveaways to honor Dad and celebrate Father’s Day.

I have a great little prize package for all those Daddys out there! One winner will receive A Caramel Of The Month Club by Have It Sweet Three Month Subscription and a Roots Soap Company Man Collection Soap package.

Here is what Anna has to say about herself and her awesome Soap shop:

My name is Anna and I make 100% natural cold process soap. My mother taught me her recipe when I was about eight years old and I made it for her company for years until it was time to fly the nest, live some life and get started on my own business. I got back to my "roots" in 2010 and started my little company! I still use the same recipe (tried and true!) incorporating my own essential oil blends and rainwater from the backyard (since we have so much here in Oregon!). I am dedicated to using only pure essential oils, natural colorings and ingredients.
I make it all in my home with my two sweet babies around me (who are making me old while still keeping me so young!) We love to explore the Northwest and most especially our beautiful city of Portland, OR. We love to hike, read books, cook yummy food, hang our laundry outside and ride bikes. Chances are that your soap order will be delivered to the local post office on one of our bike rides! Babies in tow.

And a little about Have It Sweet Confections:

Have it Sweet is a 100% Eco conscious business. They use all fair trade and organic products where they are available and all the delicious sweets are all natural, no preservatives. The husband and wife team make sure that every sweet is 100% hand made. These two busy sweethearts get it all done by hand from cooking, prep, to wrapping, shipping etc. They also have a passion for charity work and a large portion of their business proceeds go to charities such as project night night, the ocean conservancy, the Nature conservancy, various food banks, make a wish, St. Jude's and Habitat for Humanity. It is something they absolutely love to do and their business makes it possible. These two are truly an amazingly talented couple who put lots of love into their amazing sweets. I can't wait to try my sweets I ordered and their new lollipops.

Chelsea Baby Shoes {review}

I was contacted by Chelsea of Chelsea Baby and asked to review a couple of her wonderful handmade products. Chelsea sent me a pair of her adorable baby shoes in the Bucky style. And also a headband for Finley.

Chelsea Baby shoes are washable, made in the USA, made using a fabric which is 100% GREEN in its milling process and made from recycled fibers. The coolest and different thing about the shoes is the snap on and off option. You are able to change the bow ties and bouquets and purchase others as well. Chelsea Baby also offers adorable headbands for girls with the snap on and off option.

I'm really enjoying the idea of the snap on and off feature. I think it's great that you can transform the shoe to any outfit by just changing the bow tie. What an awesome idea! Ezra and Finley both had and still do have tons of shoes. I think this would have been great to have when they were littler because I would have only needed one shoe and a few bows, then once they got older I would have only had to change the shoe size, but keep all the bows. I now have a huge box of shoes that they never wore as little ones because of course as a new mom I thought I needed a pair of shoes for each outfit! I can't wait to purchase more bows when we decide to work on baby #3. Please go check out Chelsea Baby and these shoes. They are beautiful and so unique. These would make a great baby shower gift or even be perfect in your new little ones Easter basket. Sometimes it's so hard to find things for an infants Easter Basket and these really would make an adorable addition.

LIL HONU Review and {Giveaway}

Lil Honu is a company founded by two busy working moms, that carry organic linens, bath accessories and toys for newborns and toddlers.
Lil Honu was inspired by the close friendship between Erin Park and Emiliza Tan, who felt the need to provide their little ones with chemical free, pesticide free, and dye free bedding and bath linens.
Lil Honu says their mission is "to provide luxurious organic and eco-friendly baby essentials that celebrates the simple and joyful innocence of these little souls in our world, and also preserves the integrity of our environment and personal well-being."

Erin and Emiliza sent us their Lil Honu Organic Washcloths and Organic Hooded Bath Wrap Set. I have to say, these are the best wash cloths and towels I have used. I love that they are organic and I can feel good about using them on Finley and Ezra's sensitive skin and I also love how soft they are. The adorable little turtle embroidered on each item also adds the cutest touch.
I wish I would have known about Lil Honu when my babies were newborns because these are perfect for sensitive newborn skin as well, while still keeping baby warm and cozy after bath time. Better late then never though.
Finley and Ezra both love bath time and one of Finley's odd obsessions are hooded towels, she loves them! I don't know why, probably because they keep her extra warm and cozy. And Lil Honu's towels definitely do the trick of coziness, softness and warmth.

Lil Honu also carries some beautiful blankets, crib bedding and changing table pad covers, as well as bath toys!

Lil Honu is offering one my readers their organic cotton terry changing pad cover and organic cotton sateen fitted crib sheet. To enter head on over to Lil Honu and tell me what other items you would like to try.

Kitchen Finds

I love cooking and baking. When I'm not too busy being a mommy and wife, you can most likely find me in the kitchen baking treats.
We lived next door to my grandparents growing up. My grandma would walk down to my school and pick me up everyday and take me to her house, where she would have a snack and cookbook waiting on the table for me. She would scoot the cookbook toward me while I would eat my snack and drink fresh squeezed limeaide. She would say "Open it and choose what you want to bake today." Which would be anything that caught my eye, one thing I vividly remember was the kitty cake we made together. She really was the best grandma and she gave me a love for cooking and baking at a very young age.
So it's no wonder I'm drawn to anything and everything for the kitchen. From pots and pans and dish towels to cookie jars and measuring cups. I love everything kitchen!
I found a few great items all from Anthropology that I would love in my kitchen and thought I would share them with you.

I love these dish towels, I'm in need of some new ones and think these may make their way into my kitchen sometime in the near future.

I also adore these glasses, the colors are great and I really love the vintage look.

Owl cookie jars? Yes please! Owls are in right now, and I think these would make the perfect "retro" addition to any kitchen. The colors are great and so fun. I would love the white one in my kitchen and may splurge for this neat piece. I don't have a cookie jar, so this would be perfect!

{Feature} Baby Cakes

SouthernBabyCakes is a new shop on Etsy, that creates handmade Cakeballs. Shop Owners Luanne and Rachel are a mother-daughter team from Texas. The duo specializes in gourmet cakeballs using only the best quality ingredients such as Callebaut Belgian chocolate, Madagascar vanilla and Vietnamese cinnamon.
Luanne and Rachel have been making cakeballs for years as gifts and treats for family. Throughout the years they became very popular and highly requested at all family events.

In 2009 Rachel graduated from college and went to work for her parents company after not being able to find anything more permanent. This is when Rachel convinced her mother that they should start their own business. Selling their amazing cakeballs, which they experimented with. Trying other cakeballs from specialty bakeries and using their friends and family as taste testers, they threw away a lot of cakes until they came up with their current method now. Which I must say is fantastic and I really can't say enough about how tasty, delicious and beautiful their treats are.

Rachel and her mother Luanne are also very different than other bakers, in that they are only bakers at night and work full time in the day. They also make their cakeballs to order and in small batches to assure freshness and quality in taste.

Baby Cakes sent me a dozen of their cakeballs in each flavor they offer. As soon as I opened the package I was pleased, the packaging is adorable and very classy.

Then I opened the box and there they were. 12 beautiful little cake balls. I couldn't wait to pop one in my mouth and either could Finley. Babycakes says on their etsy site that the cakeballs are good for 2 weeks...Um ours didn't even last 2 hours barely. Haha.

Finley Loving her Birthday Cake Cakeball.

My favorite cakeball is the Coconut cake. To die for! Seriously a little peice of paradise heaven, no joke.

All of the flavors were wonderful and tasted just like they should. You know when a cake or candy is supposed to have a certain flavor and it either is way too strong, not strong enough or doesn't even taste close to the flavor it should? Well Babycakes has no problem getting the perfect flavors in there. Everything tasted wonderful and full of just the right flavors. Rachel and Luanne have also been able to accomadate to nut and gluten allergies as well.
Go visit SouthernBabyCakes on their Etsy site and their website, and order a box of their scrumptious cakeballs for your honey this Valentines Day. These would be the perfect Valentine treat, a little different then a box of chocolates, handmade and absolutely delish!

For The Home {Anthropologie Edition}

I love home Decor. And now that we have moved into a new house I'm starting to think about how I want to decorate. Our room needs a new look. So I'm going to share with you a few things I found while purusing Anthropologie.

We really need new bedding. I absolutlely fell in love with this Love Letters Bedding.
I love how soft and neautral it is, but I also love that you could pull some darker and brighter colors out of it to bring into the room decor. A mustard yellow shelf and some dark grey picture frames would look fabulous on the walls.

I also adore these sheets. The ruffle gives a girly feminine feel, without making your husband feel like a guest in his own room. (Mine hates floral and feels uncomfortable in any room that is too girly...he is weird)

This Collected Memories Mirror would be the perfect accent in any room. I love the rustic feel of this peice, and it would go perfect with the bedding. (Ignore the price tag)

These Jars are really neat.

I could spend all day and show you a million more wonderful things from Anthropologie. These are just a few ideas of the feel I would like to go for in our room. (Hint Hint Aaron-Valentines day!) Next to come Kitchen finds!

the j.a.r. collection Feature and Review

Who has tons of jewelry and no where to keep it? I do. Okay, I don't have a ton, but I do have a good amount that does need a place. I keep mine in a drawer and when I go to get it out it is always tangled up with another piece of jewelery. I'm in desperate need of a neat and clean way to store my pretty peices.
Who needs to decorate their home, nursery or bedroom but can't afford to do them all at once or find great pieces that will add the right touch? I've definitly been there. Not fun and a bit frustrating.
Well I found a great way to do all these things; the j.a.r. collection. A company of three moms who came together after the “r.” in the j.a.r. collection was struggling to decorate her home, a nursery and her office all at once without spending a fortune, she discovered a way to stretch fabric across a frame to create wall art. The result was so amazing the three friends set up the j.a.r. lab and experimented with ways to turn fabric into affordable home décor. Bringing you a way to hang your jewelry, not only neatly but beautifully. A way to add color to any boring room and a way to add that missing accent to your nursery or bedroom.
These pieces are beautiful, fun and so creative. I was sent an adorable jewerly hanger which solves my previous problem of where to store my jewels. I'm very impressed. It is made very nicely and is super cute. I love how it looks in my bathroom and how it adds the perfect touch, and I love the bright blue and green, so fun!

The jewlery hangers could also be used as a key holder, or a headband holder for all your little girls hair accessories.
I love these and think they would make the perfect addition to any little girls bedroom.

This wall art would look great in a nursery above the changing table.

Go check out this wonderful shop and get decorating. I can't wait to order some wall art for my bedroom. We just painted and put new carpet in, so I'm definitly in need of some of the j.a.r. collection's beautiful work to add some color and beauty.

Oopma Toys Review

Oopma toys was founded in 2004 by Milanie Cleere. Milanie had a goal to find good quality toys for her daughter after she realized her room was full of disposable plastic toys. She thought it to be unnatural to surround her daughter with toys that did and said everything for her by a push of a button. She wanted her to use her own imagination. And so became Oompa toys after finding natural beautiful toys on a trip to Europe. Milanie says "My interactive agency background as a graphic designer, programmer and project manager for several Fortune 500 companies proved useful. A developer at heart, I feverishly created the first version of the Oompa Toys web site while pregnant with my second child. Inventory was warehoused in my garage. My brother and sisters generously donated evenings and weekends to help get the business up and running. Finally, with the help of my husband (co-founder of Mochila) I created the Oompa Toys brand as one of the leading online specialty toy retailers."
Oompa Toys carries a wonderful selection of wooden toys, baby toys, soft dolls, play food, ball tracks, play mats and other beautiful, high quality wooden toys. After contacting Oompa toys to feature a review they glady sent me a wooden book for Ezra. As soo as I handed him the book he was eager to explore the wooden pages, bright colors and the frog attached to the book placing it in the holes where it belonged on each page.

Frog Wooden Book DC from Chelona

This wooden book also served as a great toy in the car. Ezra can get pretty antsy in the car at times, he hates to be strapped in and sitting still in one place for a long time. He seemed to really enjoy the book and it kept him busy for quite a while.

I love Oompa toys and trust that they will always provide my children with great quality toys that are safe and will last for years to come.

LBC Paper Feature and Review

LBC Paper is a beautiful little Etsy shop I came across a few weeks back. As soon as I saw these amazing paper creations, I knew I had to contact the seller, Leah Copplestone about a Feature for the blog. I fell in love with her beautiful ornaments and gift tags, especially with Christmas coming up. If you didn't know, I LOVE all things christmas and her ornaments had me in awe. Leah set up a listing for me of all sorts of paper goodies from her shop. Leah is an architecture student who loves paper, scissors, glue and fine point Sharpies. Everything in her shop is made from her two hands, and not one item is identical. All one of a kind! And I completely agree, when I recieved my paper goodies I was more than thrilled and so excited to have these one of a kind creations.
Leah sent me two blue paper ornaments, that will be dangle beautifully from our christmas tree. I love how bright and fun they are. And will be purchasing a few more in different colors, I love them so much.

I was also sent these adorable gift tags for our christmas gifts. These are going to add the perfect touch to the wrapping. Plus I'm not the biggest fan of those sticker tags from the stores, they are so boring.

The Gift cards Leah sent are now apart of my decor in my living room. The colors matched perfect with my other decor and added a pop to the living room.

And last but not least I also recieved these recycled coasters. I love that they are recycled and they are perfect for mine and Finley's Tea parties.

I'm so happy to have LBC Papers as a feature on my blog. Leah is truely talented and I'm so thankful she Shared her beautiful work with me. Everything in her shop is one of a kind, beautiful and unqiue. I suggest you hop on over her way and check out how you can use her beautiful paper products in your holiday decor this year. I'm pretty sure you will adore everything in her shop as much as I do.

Zutano Review and {Giveaway}

Another review and giveaway of another wonderful brand that I absolutley love.
Zutano is a Vermont-based designer of children’s clothing and toys. The prints and colors in these clothes are so bright and vibrant. The prints are fun and friendly, kids love to wear them. Not only are the clothes amazingly adorable They are super soft and comfortable too. Finley lived in Zutano dresses this summer, and the light weight shorts and tees kept Ezra cool and very cute!
Zutano just recently came out with an organic line, and sent us a new fall outfit for Ezra. Zutano Organic features 100% certified organic cotton. I just have to say that I was already impressed with zutano's clothing. But now I have to say I'm more than impressed and really loving this organic line. I can't wait to go buy more for Ezra.
