Hey Lady, Have some patience!
A couple weeks ago Aaron, the kids and I went down to Haggen (our local grocery store, that is amazing and the only grocery store I will shop at, you have no idea how much I missed this store when we lived in Alaska)to go grocery shopping. Aaron usually doesn't come with us and I'am left to brave the grocery store with an infant and 2 year old alone. It results in fits, whining and crying a lot of the time. And usually I will use drive up, so I can just get the kids in the car and all buckled in then drive up and one of the Haggen employees puts my bags in my trunk. But when Aaron is there it goes a lot smoother and we usually don't need drive up. So on this afternoon we walked out to our car, Aaron put all the groceries in the trunk while I got the kids buckled in and he then got in on the drivers side. I'm still buckling Finley in at this time, so I'm bent over with the back passneger side door open, it doesn't take me but 2 seconds to do so. And all the sudden I hear "Ugh...excuse me?" in kind of a rude voice. So I peek my head out and see a women standing there with a sandwich and drink in her hand. Obviously her car was next to ours and I was in her way. I said "Can I help you?" and she just kind of stared at me and gave me a look like "Thats my car and I'm trying to get in it." I then said "I'm buckling my child in her carseat." I wasn't rude at all, a matter a fact I think I was so shocked that someone would actually be that rude and couldn't wait two seconds while I buckled my child in, I wasn't really sure what to say. And even if I wasn't buckling my child in, there is no reason why you can't wait until I'm done doing what I'm doing, if it be putting my groceries in my backseat, grabbing a sweater or whatever, you can wait! What do you think lady? I like to hang half way out of my backseat, bending over and straining my back while I tug at my pants so my bum isn't hanging out? Yes, thats what I like to do, just to make you stand there so you can't get in your car. Sorry lady, but I'm not as rude as you So you can wait and please learn to be a little more patient, because next time I don't think I will be! I swear people these days have lost patience and kindness. This is one thing I try really hard to teach Finley. I'm always trying to explain to her how to be patient and gentle. I really hope she learns this and I hope she uses it and grows up to be a kind, patient and loving young women.

sorry about the rude lady. I experienced the opposite today. I was getting my groceries, and two kids into the car (with my obviously prego self) and the guy who was parked next to us offered to get my daughter out of the shopping cart and into the car (while I was buckling the little man) then once I had dd out, he took my cart to the corral thingy. It was very nice, I hope you have him next to you next time!!!
But the rudeness is out there and I guess we just have to kill em with kindness!
Oh my, how nice of him. Thats how people should be, but I guess people who don't have kids don't really "get" it!
